Our Program
Caz Family Camp is an intergenerational performing and visual arts camp where families create side by side. With around 50 classes across Performing Arts, Music Arts, Visual Arts, Movement Arts, and Nature Arts, campers ages 6+ build their own schedule by choosing four 55-minute class periods each day.
You’re welcome to take classes with your kids — or take time for your own creative path. The Caz experience is both individual and collective: a week to explore your interests, deepen family connection, and be part of a joyful community.
What about 2026 classes?
We are still coordinating this year’s class catalog & can’t wait to share!
Planning camp at our new site required some logistical maneuvering and we’re nearly done planning!

World Class Teaching Artists
Our staff of seasoned professional artists are actively engaged in their respective fields and bring years of valuable experience to Caz. Their unwavering dedication is centered on the personalized attention required to discover and cultivate every camper’s distinctive artistic voice.
Togetherness
We're all about diving into the wonderful ways the arts blend together to create something truly special and inspiring. It's this awesome vibe that gets us excited to come together. We want to capture that magic where art breaks down barriers—whether it's through music, dance, or theater.
Performing Arts + Music
We believe it doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner and an advanced student of music and performing arts. At Caz, everyone is a student and everyone’s instrument deserves to be heard.
Visual Arts
We believe that performing arts and visual arts go hand in hand. We embrace the reality that sometimes a performer's stage is a painter's canvas.
Good Food
Nourishing our bodies for a week of creative reset is a top priority at Caz. With a top-tier camp chef we strive to provide fulfilling meals for all of our campers. We make a dedicated effort to ensure individuals with dietary restrictions are seen and tended to, providing the same level of quality to all.
Mindfulness
Throughout the camp week, we emphasize the significance of pausing and taking a breath. By providing campers with opportunities to ground themselves and reconnect, we aim to infuse their artistic explorations with heightened intention and clarity.
Our Mission
Cazadero Performing Arts Family Camp offers a high-quality and immersive multigenerational educational experience in the visual and performing arts. Together—in nature, and as a community of individuals and families from diverse backgrounds—we inspire creative expression, share our talents, and nurture a deep appreciation of the arts.
For many families, their week together at "Caz" becomes an annual tradition that lasts for many years. It's a time-honored gathering where generations come together, creating lasting memories and forging bonds that withstand the test of time.
Our camp has been a nurturing ground for young adults, serving as a crucible where they credit their experiences with helping shape the individuals they have become. Through a rich tapestry of artistic exploration, self-discovery, and mentorship, Cazadero instills values that extend far beyond the boundaries of our camp.
Adults find themselves rekindling dormant passions for music, theater, and the performing arts. Whether dusting off an old instrument or stepping back into the limelight on the stage, Cazadero provides a space for adults to rediscover their artistic inclinations and unleash their creativity.
For children, Cazadero is a playground of possibilities where they ignite new interests in the arts. Through engaging and hands-on activities, young campers explore their artistic potential, fostering a love for creativity that will stay with them long after the campfire embers have faded.
At the heart of Cazadero is our dedicated staff, a team of passionate mentors eager to share their expertise and kindle the artistic spark in every camper. Their commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment ensures that each individual, regardless of age or experience, finds a place to thrive.
