Board of Directors

Cazadero Performing Arts Family Camp (CPAFC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, run by a part-time Executive Director and Operations Manager, guided by a dedicated board of directors. The board is responsible for setting broad goals and direction for the organization, overseeing the financial wellbeing of CPAFC, advising staff on a range of matters, and ensuring that the Caz experience remains exceptional and unique. The board operates through committees focused on finance, governance, fundraising, and other areas as needed. The board meets monthly online.

Criteria for membership:

  • A deep commitment to the transformative power of arts education and community building through creative expression.

  • A willingness to engage fully on the wide range of issues the board addresses.

  • A skill set that strengthens the board and enhances the camp experience. Whether it be fundraising or arts education.

  • The ability to actively participate in scheduled board meetings throughout the year.

Danielle Fredericks, President. Danielle is a Los Angeles-based attorney with a passion for equity, the arts, and working with creatives. Her family discovered Caz during the pandemic through close friends and haven't looked back! At camp, you can find her near the coffee and the art supplies.

Thomas Rough, Treasurer. Tom and his family found Caz in 2018 while looking for a sleep away summer camp for daughter Euphemia. They were delighted to find not just a summer camp, but a year round community that sustains their whole family.

Chelle Jacques. Michelle is the Artistic Director/Founder of CHELLE! Music which features the CHELLE! and Friends NOLA Big Band and CHELLE’S JUKE JOINT A cappella Quintet. Michelle is Vice President of the Governor's Board of The San Francisco/Colorado chapter of the Recording Academy. She is the recipient of the 2021 InterMusic S.F. grant for the 2022/2023 production of “Daughters of the Delta Project”, recipient of the City Of Oakland, Choir Director at Plymouth Church of Jazz and Justice, Individual Artist grant for 2008, winner of the 1992 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA) for “Best Folk/Progressive Song”, “Home Africa”, and soundtrack for the Sundance Film Festival Official Selection 2010 movie “La Mission” with Benjamin Bratt.
